ABOUT ME

Rani Mohamad Amayri is a creative leader driven by storytelling, culture, and human insight. His journey began with shapes and colors before evolving into ideas that move people. With a degree in Advertising from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Damascus, he built a foundation where art and strategy meet, a balance that continues to define his work today.
For more than fifteen years, he has been leading creative teams and shaping brand narratives across the region. As a Creative Director at Impact BBDO, Rani drives work grounded in cultural relevance and human emotion, turning insights into ideas that travel beyond borders. His strength lies in bridging global creativity with local authenticity and mentoring teams to deliver work that resonates deeply with audiences.
Before that, he led Arabic copy across the agency, helping define the creative voice of the region’s modern advertising landscape. Earlier in his career, he combined creative direction, writing, and production to bring global entertainment properties and regional campaigns to life.
Rani has crafted award-winning work across industries including banking, automotive, real estate, tourism, food and beverage, and telecom. His campaigns have been recognized at Cannes Lions, Loeries, Dubai Lynx, and Effies. In 2022, he was named Arabic Copywriter of the Year by Campaign Middle East and has served as a jury member at international award festivals.
Beyond advertising, Rani explores storytelling through authorship and art. He has published three Arabic novels, Khaymat Amal (Tent of Hope), Battling Imagination, and Chucabra’s Promise, and continues to push creative boundaries through emerging tools and new forms of expression.
He currently lives in Dubai and works as a creative director and consultant, helping brands and teams navigate the region’s culture, language, and evolving audience mindset.
